If you’re a Kingston-area business or not-for-profit in need of legal assistance, please visit the Queen’s Business Law Clinic site.

At the Queen’s Business Law Clinic (QBLC), students can explore the dynamic field of business and intellectual property law by providing legal assistance to business start-ups, not-for-profits and charities in southeastern Ontario.

Working for academic credit, or possibly in a paid summer position, you will advise on corporate governance issues, draft legal documents like articles of incorporation and charity registrations, write legal opinions on a range of topics like trademark registrability, and draft contracts from service agreements to licenses, terms of use and privacy policies.

Gain presentation experience by speaking in front of your class and local business groups on any number of corporate and commercial law issues.

QBLC students benefit from the supervision of the Director and volunteer review counsel from reputable firms across Ontario.
