Bill Flanagan has served as Dean for the past 11 years, first appointed in 2005. His teaching interests include international economic law, business associations, and property law, and his scholarly work spans a number of areas, including property law, business law and trade law.

Since becoming Dean, he has seen the school through a period of unprecedented growth and development, including the establishment of the Faculty’s PhD program in 2008, the creation of the Centre for Law in the Contemporary Workplace in 2010, the expansion of the Queen’s Law Clinics and their co-location in downtown Kingston in 2014, a 20% expansion of the school’s faculty complement, and the integration of blended and digital learning into the Faculty.
