Osler lecturer clarifies basic distinction of fiduciary boundaries

Distinguished lecturer Professor Deborah DeMott of Duke University presents the lecture “Fiduciary Boundaries” in Macdonald Hall on January 16.

The 2011-12 series of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP Distinguished Lectures in Business Law continued on January 16 with Professor Deborah DeMott of Duke University. She presented her paper “Fiduciary Boundaries” and spoke to students and faculty about the key distinction between modifying a fiduciary duty through agreement and through consent.
