Eligibility and Application Procedure

Bader International Study CentreStudents in any discipline may apply.  Students in a law program will be considered for admission to Law 663; students in an undergraduate program will be considered for admission to INTS 363.  It is recommended, but not required, that applicants have some academic background in international law and/or political or legal theory.  Admission will be on a competitive basis based on transcripts, a statement of interest and academic references. 

Students are encouraged to apply early as the number of positions is limited.  Applications are due February 3, 2012, although late applications will be considered if places remain in the course.

Documents to be included with your application:

  1. One-page statement of interest, explaining your qualifications for and interest in the course.
     
  2. Letter of reference from a professor or instructor.
     
  3. Applicants who are not registered at Queen's must provide official transcripts of university work completed and a  letter of permission issued by the home university.  Transcripts for Queen’s students will be acquired by admission services.
     
  4. Applicants for whom English is not a first language and who do not attend an English-speaking university may be asked to obtain and provide English language test scores.
