The Advisory Board is the governing body of the Centre for Law in the Contemporary Workplace and is composed of Faculty of Queen's University and two leading members of the Bar. Its mandate includes providing strategic oversight with respect to the Centre's planning and operations including its business plan.

The Advisory Committee is composed of leading members of the labour and employment law community, with diverse experience and perspectives. Committee members provide guidance to the Centre's Director and Advisory Board in the planning and development of the Centre. The Committee's main functions include advising on priorities for the Centre's research, teaching, conferences and other activites, to provide diverse perspectives on issues affecting law in the workplace, and to facilitate liaison between the Centre and the broader labour and employment law community.
