Research Programs & Projects

The CLCW is currently finalizing a long-term research plan.

The Centre will anchor an interdisciplinary network of researchers within and outside Queen's University.  Network members will be drawn from Queen's Law and other law faculties, from cognate academic units at Queen's such as the Department of Economics and the Industrial Relations unit in the School of Policy Studies, and from other institutions.

The Centre will support that network by:

  • Providing institutional critical mass to help organize and seek funding for research projects
  • Providing a forum for bringing diverse disciplinary perspectives to bear
  • Providing research assistance, logistical and administrative support, and access to research data
  • Providing the opportunity to present papers at Centre workshops, conferences and visiting speaker series
  • Helping to disseminate research findings in other ways
  • Supporting partnerships with industry, labour, not-for-profit, community and government organizations

If you are a researcher interested in participating, please contact Centre Director Kevin Banks at banks@queensu.ca.
