Students receive Community Award from Canadian Cancer Society
(March 31, 2009)
Queen’s University students have received the Community Partnerships Award from the Canadian Cancer Society in recognition of their excellence in cancer research fundraising and their efforts to engage others.
The Queen's Law Cancer Society (QLCS) is one of four groups at the university which has received particular recognition by the Canadian Cancer Society.
QLCS co-chair Courtney Petch, Law '09, accepted the award at the 2009 Canadian Cancer Society Daffodil Month kick-off breakfast on behalf of the student groups being recognized.
