David Allgood, Law ’74, rewarded for career work as general counsel

David Allgood, Law ’74, has been selected as the 2010 Canadian General Counsel Awards Lifetime Achievement winner. The award recognizes his leadership and innovation through his distinguished career as a general counsel.
Allgood, chair of the Dean’s Council for Queen’s Law, is the executive vice-president and general counsel at the Royal Bank of Canada.
The general counsel awards are co-sponsored by the National Post and ZSA Legal Recruitment.
Allgood will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award on May 31, 2010, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto.
