Queen’s University, Student Awards Office will consider applicants who have been offered admission for the award of a law admission bursary.
A bursary is a non-repayable grant from the University that is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need. This is a proactive initiative to assist admitted applicants to know how much needs-based financial assistance would be payable at the time of registration to offset the costs of their studies in law.
The Queen’s University Law Admissions Bursary Application is available at
http://www.queensu.ca/studentawards/financialassistance/law.html#admissionbursary .
Please download and complete the Law Admissions Bursary Application form and mail it to the Queen’s University Student Awards Office at the address indicated on the form. If the completed application form is filed before the early deadline of December 1, 2011, for first-round offers or by the final deadline of March 1, 2012, for second-round offers, Queen’s Student Awards will be able to include an offer of a law admissions bursary to eligible recipients with the offer package.
If you do not file a completed Law Admissions Bursary Application on time, then you will be unable to partake in the benefits of this program through the admissions cycle. We encourage you to participate in this financial assistance program by completing and filing an application, whether or not you think you would qualify.
Following the OLSAS application deadline, OLSAS will forward file contents in electronic format to Queen’s Faculty of Law. Files will be assembled from the electronic materials. Files in each of the admission categories are ranked for competitiveness and forwarded to the Admissions committee for review and decision throughout the cycle. Beginning in January 2012 and running through until late August, decisions regarding admission will be communicated to applicants by email and letter. Please be sure to keep OLSAS updated through the cycle with your current mailing address and current email address.
The OLSAS Secure Applicant Messaging tool (SAM) allows applicants to send personal information

SAM by logging in to their submitted application using their User ID number and password, and then selecting the appropriate link. Changes to any of the following must be made using SAM:
