Experiential Learning and Clinical Opportunities

Students in Moot Court Room

Queen's Faculty of Law offers some of the best clinical programs in Canada through Queen's Legal Aid and the unique Correctional Law Project.

Clinical Family Law allows students to gain valuable experience and insight into the practice of family law and the role of lawyers and other professionals in the legal system. The program is coordinated by Professor Nick Bala.

Our students hone their new legal knowledge and skills through participating in our Advocacy and Competitive Mooting program.

The Queen's Law Journal offers aspiring legal writers and scholars opportunities to earn academic credit and practice their craft.

The Queen's Business Law Clinic (QBLC) provides students with the opportunity to provide supervised legal services to entrepreneurs, start-up and small businesses, and not for profit organizations located in Kingston and the broader region of Eastern Ontario.
