Global Law Programs at the BISC

Queen’s Law students have the opportunity to spend an eight-week term in May and June at the Bader International Study Centre (BISC) completing one of the Global Law Spring Programs. Studying and living at the 15th-century Herstmonceux Castle estate in East Sussex, 100 km southeastof London, England, students are immersed in a unique cultural learning experience.

Queen’s Law offers students a choice of three intensive and integrated academic programs in which to earn upper-year degree credits – International Business Law, Public International Law, and, Comparative Law. Visits to leading international institutions, featuring briefings by senior legal advisors and meetings with key officials, further enrich the experience.

Early J.D. Completion

Students who complete one of the Global Law Programs at the BISC earn nine upper-year course credits, which can allow them to fulfill the J.D. degree requirements in only three upper-year terms instead of the usual four.
