    Alumni Relations Committee

    The Alumni Relations Committee assists the Faculty of Law’s Development Officer in strengthening ties between law students and Queen’s Law alumni 

    Book Sale Committee

    The Book Sale committee runs the book sale out of the LSS Office at the beginning of each term. The book sale sells course books on consignment for Queen's Law students. 

    Club Governance Committee

    Works in conjunction with the L.S.S. Treasurer and has a mandate to review the internal controls and finances of L.S.S. clubs and other events that operate using L.S.S. funds. The membership of this committee shall be restricted to those individuals who do not have signing authority with any L.S.S. club. (8 positions)

    Constitutional and Elections Committee

    The Constitutional and Elections Committee oversees elections at Queen's Law to ensure that nominations, campaigning, and elections are done in accordance with the Constitution. 

    Constitutional Review Committee

    The Constitutional Review Committee reviews the constitution and recommends changes. This committee is chaired by the LSS VP Academic. 

    Dennis Marshall Committee

    The Dennis Marshall Committee makes recommendations regarding the recipient of the Dennis Marshall Award.  

    Equity Committee

    The Equity Committee works with the faculty and student equity commissioners to educate law students on equity issues. 

    Evaluations Committee

  • The Evaluations Committee is responsible for conducting course evaluations for each law course. The purpose of course evaluations are to assess teaching effectiveness and the relevance of course content. The chair of this committee is the LSS VP Administrative. 

    Law Games Committee

    The Law Games Committee organizes and fund-raises all aspects of Queen's Law's participation in Law Games. This committee is chaired by the LSS VP Activities.  

    Lawlapalooza Committee

    The Lawlapalooza Committee organizes and runs Lawlapalooza in the Winter term.  This committee is chaired by the LSS VP Activities.

    Promotions Committee

    The Promotions Committee works to solicit money from law firms on behalf of LSS clubs and events. This committee is chaired by the LSS VP Finance. 

    Teaching Awards Committee

    The Teaching Awards Committee confers awards for teaching excellence. This committee is chaired by the LSS VP Academic.

    Yearbook Committee

    The Yearbook Committee designs and produces the yearbook.
