Seat Booking Policies
Seat booking priority will be given to students with exceptional needs for study space. Mooters will also have priority access to room 400.
Space is limited. If you do not need to book space for either of these reasons, please make alternate arrangements.
If you require space due to exceptional needs, and there is no space available, please contact Helen Connop (email@example.com). If you are a mooter, please contact Kelsey Jennings (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Booking Information and Instructions
Seats can be booked in 30-minute blocks between 8:30AM and 8:30PM. Users of booked space must leave the building by 9:00PM.
Please don't book longer blocks longer than you require or book more than one seat at the same time.
Space Use Protocols
Use of the space is contingent upon compliance with the following protocols. A failure to follow these protocols will result in suspension of access:
- Masks are mandatory at ALL times. Even when you are seated at your assigned workstation. (The only exception is for mooters when they are practicing behind the plexiglass barrier installed in room 400.)
- Furniture (including chairs) cannot be rearranged or moved from their assigned spaces. The desks and chairs have been arranged in compliance with university Health and Safety requirements.
- Directional and disinfecting signs and procedures posted in each area must be followed.
- The locker bays and the student lounge (including the kitchenette) are not approved for use. Please respect the barriers and signage. Locks will be cut and contents removed.
The building will be monitored to ensure compliance with these requirements. Please help us keep all students, staff, and faculty, safe while using Faculty facilities.
