The International Law Program will return to  Bader College ('the castle') in England in May 2026, and then will be based at the American University of Paris for the month of June.

Reflecting Queen's Law's commitment to an international perspective in the study of law, the International Law Program is an integrated academic program that runs each May and June. This unique learning opportunity combines an 8-week intensive academic program with field study visits to law firms, international organizations, and international courts. Instructors and guest lecturers are prominent figures in international law who bring their practical experience to the classroom and lecture hall. The program offers many networking opportunities, including a career options evening with alumni and friends. Students choose to study International Business Law, International Environmental Law, or Public International Law.

2026 Term Dates and Locations

The program will run from May 8 to July 4, 2026. Students will attend orientation and the first three weeks of classes at Queen's University's Bader College at the historic Herstmonceux Castle estate in East Sussex, England. The program will then be based at the beautiful premises of the American University of Paris for four weeks. The last week of the program will be a field trip beginning in Brussels (IBL), The Hague (PIL) or Hamburg and Bonn (IEL), with all 3 streams ending the program in Geneva.  

Certificate of Completion

Upon the successful completion of the International Law Program, students receive a “Certificate of Completion” in International Business Law, Public International Law, or International Environmental Law from the Faculty of Law. The top three students in each stream are awarded their certificates "With Merit".
