Law Students' Society
All Queen's Law students are members of the Law Students' Society (LSS). The LSS serves as a vital forum for discussion, with its representatives serving on University governance boards as well as on the executive of the Society of Graduate and Professional Students (the central student government body for law, graduate and theology students - see www.sgps.ca for more information). Students may be appointed to important committees of the Faculty Board, setting policy and rendering decisions that have significant impact on the life of the Queen's Law School. There is also an opportunity to participate in a number of LSS committees such as the Judicial Constitutional and Elections Committee, Student Recruitment and Education Committee, Student-Alumni Relations Committee, and the Student Financial Assistance Committee. To provide you with rewarding opportunities for extra-curricular involvement, the LSS also supports a wide range of student clubs, social functions and athletic activities.
