Anton Sahazizian is a Managing Director and Head of U.S. Mergers & Acquisitions at Moelis & Company. Mr. Sahazizian has extensive experience advising clients on M&A transactions and was most recently a Managing Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at UBS Investment Bank in New York. Mr. Sahazizian worked at UBS for nearly 10 years, and in his most recent role was the senior banker responsible for the origination and execution of M&A transactions for some of the largest global industrials companies in the chemicals, capital goods, paper, packaging, forest products and energy sectors. He advised on numerous high-profile strategic M&A transactions within the sector and was responsible for related coverage of corporate clients as well as private equity firms. Mr. Sahazizian started his investment banking career in the Los Angeles office of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and was one of the founders of UBS’ Los Angeles office and their Exclusive Sales and Divestitures Group. Previously, he was a securities lawyer in Toronto, Canada, with McMillan Binch and Goodman and Carr.

Mr. Sahazizian holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario. He also graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston with an LL.B. in 1994 and received an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
