ESADE is a private educational institution which was founded in 1958 in partnership with the Jesuits initially, but was subsumed within the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona, Spain in 1995. ESADE has two schools at the university: the ESADE Business School and the ESADE Law School founded in 1993, as well as a language center, the ESADE Executive Language Center.

The ESADE Law School is situated on the Barcelona-Pedralbes Campus. Located in a quiet, residential area, the classrooms, study areas and simulation courtrooms are equipped with the latest technology with an excellently resourced library on site.

Pedralbes is an attractive residential area, located only 15 minutes from the Barcelona city centre, just off the Avenida Diagonal, the heart of the city's business and shopping district, and close to the pedestrian streets of Sarrià, a neighbourhood that preserves its village-like character.

For over three decades, ESADE’s vision, values and strategy have included an international focus. It maintains exchange program agreements with more than 46 law schools in Europe, North and South America, Asia and the Middle East. Each year ESADE welcomes foreign exchange students from 26 different countries: 57% from Europe, 36% from North America, 4% from Asia and 3% from the Middle East. ESADE welcomes over 1,400 international students from 89 countries and has more than 8,000 alumni living and working in 114 countries around the world. ESADE is a meeting point for business executives, lawyers, scholars, politicians and social activists. ESADE's global prestige stems from its quality education, its international focus and its holistic approach towards professional and personal skills development.
