Seoul National University is the most prestigious university in South Korea. With origins from the late 19th century, the university has changed throughout the political history of the Korean peninsula. After being operated by the Imperialist Japanese regime in the 1940s, the current entity was founded in 1946.

The Seoul National University Law School was founded in 2009 as one of the founding law schools of South Korea. The law school offers many degree programs in a wide variety of subject areas from criminal law to constitutional, commercial, international, environmental, and legal theory.

Seoul is a bustling megacity that skillfully balances rapid urbanization and a cutting-edge technology market with sacred cultural traditions. Between the skyscrapers and modern infrastructure, the streets are filled with vibrant markets, a thriving food scene and Buddhist temples.
