Hannah Hunter-Loubert is a civil litigator and research lawyer. Her LLM research focus is civil procedure and how the rules of procedure contribute to, or reduce, delay. She is specifically investigating the impact of scheduled and unscheduled judicial time. After receiving her JD from the University of Calgary, Hannah clerked with the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta. She completed her articles and worked as an associate with a mid-sized firm in Calgary, primarily in the areas of civil litigation and personal injury. In addition to issues of civil procedure and access to justice, she is interested in legal pedagogy and has taught both Constitutional Law and Evidence Law at the University of Calgary.
