Imran S. Hussainaly serves as Senior Legal Counsel for Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG).
 
OEG owns the 5-time Stanley Cup Champion Edmonton Oilers, Edmonton Oil Kings and Bakersfield Condors and operates Rogers Place, North America’s premier and most technologically advanced sports and entertainment venue.
 
Edmonton born and raised, Mr. Hussainaly supports OEG’s multitude of sports and entertainment ventures. As part of his diverse responsibilities, Mr. Hussainaly provides strategic counsel on broadcast rights, coach employment, concession, hockey related litigation, insurance, intellectual property, lease, live entertainment, merchandising, premium seat licensing, risk management, sponsorship, and ticketing matters. Prior to joining OEG, he drafted and negotiated complex commercial transactions in the telecommunications and aerospace industries.
 
Mr. Hussainaly currently serves as Secretary of the Edmonton Oil Kings Education Association. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Canadian International Council and Sports Lawyers Association.
 
He received his degree in economics from the University of Alberta, his law degree at Queen's University and earned a certificate in international business law from the Queen’s University Bader International Study Center in the United Kingdom. Mr. Hussainaly is called to the Bar in Ontario and Alberta.
