John Luscombe has been a staff lawyer for the Queen’s Prison Law Clinic (QPLC) since 2021. Prior to that, he completed his articling placement with QPLC. John’s work involves representing clients before a variety of administrative tribunals, including prison disciplinary courts for serious offences and the Parole Board of Canada for a variety of applications involving release and release conditions. As he continues to gain experience, he looks forward to growing his involvement with the Clinic’s expanding litigation work During his time as a law student, John enjoyed working as a student caseworker with the Queen’s Business Law Clinic and being an active member of the Moot Court program. John is still holding out hope for a Blue Jays World Series victory in his lifetime.
