Justice Graeme Mew was appointed to the Superior Court of Justice (Ontario) in 2013, and has been a resident judge in Kingston since 2016.  He has been a sessional instructor at Queen’s since 2018, teaching International Sports Law and guest lecturing on advocacy, legal ethics and criminal law.  For the 2022-23 academic year, he was Jurist in Residence at Queen’s Law, on leave from the Court.  Prior to his appointment to the bench, Justice Mew was a member of the bars of England & Wales, Ontario and British Columbia.  He had a diverse litigation and dispute resolution practice. He is the lead author of the Law of Limitations (LexisNexis) and has written on a range of other topics including ethics, professional regulation, conflict of laws, insurance, sports, commercial arbitration, contract and tort law.
