Leslie O’Donoghue is the former Executive Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Development for Nutrien. She was previously Agrium’s Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy, and Chief Risk Officer and EVP, Operations responsible for all of Agrium’s North American and international operations. Prior to that, she had a broad portfolio with responsibly for legal affairs and corporate governance; government relations; health, safety and security; sustainability and stakeholder relations; internal audit; operational excellence; and mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining Agrium in 1999, Leslie was a partner in the national law firm of Blake, Cassels & Graydon.

Leslie’s vision and leadership have been recognized on several occasions. She received the 2017 Distinguished Business Leader Award honouring exemplary Calgarians for their outstanding personal and professional achievements, commitment to community and business acumen. In 2013, she was inducted into Canada’s Women’s Executive Network (WXN) Top 100 Most Powerful Women Hall of Fame as a four-time winner (2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013 WXN ), she was recognized as one of Alberta's 50 Most Influential People and was appointed Alberta Queen’s Counsel for her outstanding contributions to legal and public life. Most recently, she received the 2019 Queen’s Johnson Award for her distinguished career advocating for workplace diversity, inspiring future leaders, and for her commitment to the Calgary community and Queen's University.

Leslie is a member of the Board of Directors for Pembina Pipeline Corporation and a former director of the United Way Calgary and area.
