Morgan Jarvis brings practical business law training to Queen’s Law students through the Queen’s Business Law Clinic, as a practicing lawyer, and legal education to all through the Certificate in Law.
Morgan is a proud Queen’s graduate, first with a bachelor’s and master’s in science and then with a Juris Doctor from our law school. After Queen’s, he represented Canada in the Summer Olympics, and then worked in the corporate and commercial law group of Gowling WLG, a large international law firm. He also served in-house at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, responsible for their intellectual property protection and commercialization.
He brings this range of experience full circle back to Queen’s. He’s now not only running the Certificate in Law and the Business Law Clinic but authors and instructs the Certificate’s Intellectual Property Law and Introduction to Canadian Law courses.
