Stuart O’Connor is the President of Timber Ridge Capital Ltd., a private holding company as well as an officer and/or director of various other companies including Arcurve Inc., a private international software development company, Fitzroy Developments Ltd., a private real estate company, Petrofeed Inc., a private internet company and Timber Ridge Ranch Ltd. He is a former founding partner in various other enterprises including a junior oil and gas company, a financing company and a real estate company and is also the former Chairman of the Board of Flint Energy Services Ltd., a public oilfield service company, and a former director of IROC Energy Services Ltd., a public oilfield service company.
Stuart is also the former CEO and CFO of Merak Projects Ltd., an international software company. Before his involvement with Merak, Mr. O’Connor practiced corporate and securities law with Bennett Jones, a national law firm. Stuart is active in the community and in addition to his role with the Queen’s Law Alumni in Alberta is a volunteer with the Calgary Stampede, most recently as the co-chair of the 2012 Centennial Committee celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Calgary Stampede. Mr. O’Connor holds a Bachelor of Science (Chemical Engineering) degree from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen’s University.
