Sydney is a second-year student at Queen’s Faculty of Law. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of Guelph and conducted research with the Einstein Lab at the University of Toronto, where she further developed her interest in closing knowledge gaps for marginalized groups. Her professional experience includes consulting for independent fashion designers, leading retail teams, and supporting community organizations such as Hope House Guelph. At Queen’s Law, Sydney has been actively involved with Queen’s Women and Law and Queen’s Family Law Club and is currently serving as President of the Second-Year Council within the Law Students’ Society. This past summer, Sydney participated in the Bader International Environmental Law Program in Berlin, where she studied transnational regulatory frameworks. Sydney is particularly interested in corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, and corporate governance, and is motivated to support entrepreneurs and small businesses in Kingston through her work with the QBLC.
