Talya obtained her psychology ('09) and law ('12) degrees at Queen's University. She is called in British Columbia and Ontario. Talya articled and worked at a Singleton Reynolds LLP for 8 years as a civil litigation associate before becoming Legal Counsel at Intact Insurance Company. Talya has appeared before all levels of Court in British Columbia, Supreme Court of Yukon, Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal and British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal. She has a demonstrated interest and commitment to civic involvement and, in particular, mentorship.
