I am originally from Delta State, Nigeria, and earned my LLB from the University of Buckingham in the UK. After completing my degree, I worked as a paralegal at Pinsent Masons LLP, where I focused on business and real estate law—particularly post-completion matters. Alongside my professional role, I volunteered through the firm’s pro bono scheme at Westminster Primary School, supporting children with literacy development. This blend of legal and community-focused work reinforced my desire to pursue a well-rounded legal career. Wanting to diversify my legal knowledge and position myself for international opportunities, I decided to pursue an LLM. I chose Queen’s University for its academic excellence, inclusive environment, and strong support for graduate students which are qualities that align with both my personal values and professional ambitions.
