Colonialism in Modern Times

The Queen's Human Rights Law Club, with the support of the CBA International Law Section, is delighted to announce that it will be hosting another conference this year on March 2-March 4, 2022. This year's conference theme is "Colonialism in Modern Times."

The conference is free and will be held on Zoom for all to attend. All links will be available on our Facebook page. The conference consists of clubs from common-law schools in Canada who have organized 1-hour panels on an issue of their choice, focusing on areas of law that intersect with domestic and international human rights issues. Our opening speaker will be Professor Imseis, Queen’s Faculty of Law, and our keynote speaker will be Director Hakimi, Stanford Law School. There will be a Speed Networking event held in collaboration with the CBA International Law Section and an International Law Careers Panel. Note: Attendees interested in the Speed Networking event must register in advance via the registration form in order to receive the Zoom link.
