Join us to an exclusive roundtable discussion on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Legal Innovation, a pivotal conversation on how AI is transforming the legal profession and shaping the future of legal practice in Kingston.
The Conflict Analytics Lab (CAL), led by Law Professor Samuel Dahan, is pioneering AI-driven legal solutions, including the OpenJustice initiative — an open-access AI platform designed to enhance legal research, streamline document preparation, and expand access to justice. Developed in collaboration with industry partners, OpenJustice explores how legal professionals can co-create AI tools that reflect the realities of legal practice — incorporating internal firm knowledge, reasoning strategies, and practitioner insight. Built as a no-code environment, the platform enables lawyers to prototype tools like client intake flows or document analyzers without needing to code or rely on technical teams.
With AI rapidly evolving, this is a unique opportunity to engage with legal professionals and industry leaders on how we can harness these advancements for Kingston’s legal and business community.
