Each Fall, a small number of Ottawa employers recruit 1L and 2L students interested in the practice of intellectual property (IP) law in Ottawa. Summer students can gain exposure to work in copywrite, patent, and/or trademark law.

Hear from the CDO, students who have gone through the IP recruit, and alumni! We will explore how to best navigate this formal recruitment process in law and what the practice of IP is like for summer students.

You should attend this session if you have an undergrad/graduate degree in hard sciences/engineering, are interested in learning more about this process, and have a long-term interest in living and working in Ottawa.
