The Queen's Law Journal presents: Contesting Criminal Law: An Event Honoring Professor Don Stuart with Professors Janine Benedet (UBC), Stephen Coughlan (Dalhousie), and Lisa Dufraimont (Osgoode).

This panel event will feature three leading Criminal law and Evidence scholars presenting their forthcoming papers for a special symposium issue of the Queen's Law Journal on the legacy of Queen's Law Professor Don Stuart. Topics include: mandatory minimum sentences in sexual assault and abuse cases; the relevancy of sexual history evidence in relationship cases; and the existence of a de minimis defence in criminal law.
