On February 2, 2019 the Reconciliation on Bay St. Conference will bring together 100 students from Queen's Law and the Smith School of Business to engage with experts in conversations around economic reconciliation on Queen’s campus - join us for the day!

This conference is the first of its kind at Queen’s; it will bring together Indigenous and non-Indigenous, business and law students to engage in discussions with experts about economic Reconciliation and the roles that we, as future lawyers and business leaders, must play in that process.

The event will begin with an opening ceremony conducted by local leaders and Elders. There will then be a showing of the Reconciliation on Bay Street documentary, which has inspired this conference.

Following the film, we will host a Q&A panel with the filmmaker and Queen's Law alumnus, David Sharpe, who appears in the documentary.

The remainder of the event will be a day of panel discussions as well as opporunities for artistic and cultural expression. We hope to inspire all attendees to see economic reconciliation as both a responsibility and an opportunity.
