Queen’s Law faculty, staff, alumni and friends will join the family of Stanley “Stan” Corbett, former Associate Dean (Academic) at Queen’s Law, at a celebration of life this Saturday, October 17. The ceremony, to take place at Grant Hall at Queen’s University from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, and will include speakers such as Queen’s Law Dean Bill Flanagan, philosophy professor Alistair Macleod, and other colleagues, former students and family members.
“As a teacher, scholar, colleague and friend, Stan Corbett had a huge impact upon the Faculty of Law. His ready smile and gentle wisdom were always a comfort and a guide to us all. He is greatly missed,” said Queen’s Law Dean Bill Flanagan.
A reception will follow the service.
